Questions

IS THIS THERAPY OR MEDICAL ADVICE?

No. I'm a certified health and cancer coach, not a therapist or medical provider. My work is a supportive, complementary, and forward-focused partnership.  I help you navigate the emotional, mental, and lifestyle impact of cancer by easing overwhelm, helping you implement healing habits, and helping you feel more steady and empowered. Coaching does not replace medical care—it complements it by supporting YOU as a whole person, not a cancer diagnosis.

WHAT IF I FEEL UNSURE OF WHAT I NEED OR IF COACHING WILL HELP ME?

That uncertainty is completely normal and one of the most common reasons women reach out. The complimentary 'Now What?' call is a safe, no-pressure space. During this conversation, we'll talk about what you're navigating now; explore what's feeling most overwhelming or uncertain; look at which pathway might best support you at this moment; and answer any questions you have about working together. There's no obligation and no expectation to make any decisions on the call. It is simply a place to be heard and see if this support feels like a good fit.   When you're ready, the next step is a conversation. We'll take this one step at a time.

HOW DO WE HAVE COACHING SESSIONS AND WHAT HAPPENS DURING A SESSION?

Sessions are by phone or Zoom or can be in person if you are local (Grant Co. Washington State.) Each session is structured and intentional, but flexible to accomodate what you may be going through that day. Our sessions focus on clarifying what matters most right now, working with evidence-informed approaches, and identifying practical next steps you can use. The work evolves as your needs change.  My role is to support, guide, and offer tools, while honoring your autonomy, values, and pace. We decide together what feels supportive and realistic.

I'M EXHAUSTED/IN ACTIVE TREATMENT. IS THIS A BIG TIME COMMITMENT?

No. We structure sessions around your schedule. Any lifestyle changes you make are based on your time and energy levels.

DO YOU TAKE CREDIT CARDS? WHAT ABOUT PAYMENTS?

I take Venmo and PayPal, which accept all major credit cards. Yes, I am open to taking payments. Depending on the Coaching Path selected, I can offer a 2 or 3-month payment structure. We can discuss payment options during the 'Now What?' call.

CAN I ADD MORE SESSIONS TO ANY PATHWAY?

Yes. If you need extended support on any of the topics or techniques we cover, we can add sessions as needed.
